Website UI for a SAAS company created by AI 🤯

This is the first official AIUI newsletter, where you will receive desktop, mobile & app UI designs generated by AI, straight to your inbox 5x a week.

Each newsletter will act as a source of design inspiration for Founders, Indie Hackers, Designers, & whoever else is out there trying to create a beautiful website or app. Together we will take on a fun journey to document and explore how AI integrates into the UI/UX Design World and advances over time.

whew that’s A LOT jam-packed into a daily read, but don’t worry, I’ll be keeping things short. I want this to be more of a 1-3 minute experience that you can digest quickly in the morning while you drink your coffee. So let’s get into it!

AI + Web Design = ❓

There are a few accounts I have come across that are utilizing AI to create UI designs. All of them working with AI to do this in their own, unique way. Here are two that really stood out:

https://twitter.com/leon_eckervall - Leon runs an AI Creative Agency where they generate the design assets using AI and then, have a team manually edit and tailor it to your brand. The outcomes are insanely good!

https://twitter.com/chris_lueders_ - Chris creates stunning UI designs using Midjourney and shares every step of his creative process with you on Twitter so you can achieve the same results.

AIUI Updates ⚡️

As of right now, the ultimate use case for AIUI is still in talks. I am torn between three avenues depending on how well training this Stable Diffusion model goes. There are a few things affecting this decision:

1. While Midjourney has great success generating UI designs, it can’t handle text (just yet). However, I have high hopes for the advancements here considering how quickly things have been moving already.

2. There is really no existing content on the web guiding UI designs through Stable Diffusion. While I am fine-tuning the SD model, I can see that it is having a lot of trouble understanding how to piece together a site. That’s even with 100’s of very clear web image examples.

3. I want to consider what the best business model would be considering this would really be the first of it’s kind in the AI world. (only a little bit of pressure lol)

UI Designs 💎

Today’s Midjourney site was created for a Saas company. MJ seems to always generate such amazing header images and I see that in itself being a huge use case for the design world. No more scouring the web for cool icons or image to use when you could have a one-of-a-kind in only a minute.
